UNISON is the biggest union in local government representing over 1.3 million workers. Derbyshire County UNISON is the largest trade union branch in the East Midlands. We represent over 12,000 workers employed in local authorities, Derbyshire’s schools, the probation and careers services, the community and voluntary sector, private care providers, cleaning and catering firms and further education colleges.
