Probation pay award accepted
UNISON members have voted overwhelmingly in favour of a pay offer that protects incremental progression and shortens pay bands 1, 2, 3 and 4 by one point.
It also provides a minimum pay increase of £325 (pro-rata) for all staff which will benefit the lower paid staff, and staff on the top of their pay band.
Voting Figures:
· For the Offer 1439 (98.7%of those voting)
· Against the Offer 19 (1.3%)
Total number of members participating 1458 (29.0% of probation membership)
Napo members have also voted to accept the offer, and the Trade Union Side Secretary of the National Negotiating Council has therefore written to the Employers’ Side to notify them of the ballot results. An NNC Circular advising Trusts that an agreement has been reached on the 2010 NNC pay deal will be issued imminently.
