Derbyshire County Unison News : 26 July 2010
Ongoing problems with SAP
The Branch Office continues to receive complaints about wrong payments made by SAP and where corrections have been made in many cases these have been recovered in the following month's pay.
Unison is taking these matters up with the County Council and Elected Members but we need members to log a complaint letter with their manager and to send a copy to us. The following wording is recommended for the letter to your manager: -
Dear (manager)
My wages have now been consistently incorrect since April 2010. I have tried to get this issue resolved but have been unsuccessful. Please treat this as a complaint letter.
I have asked for my pay to be corrected but when this has been done this has been taken away again usually the following month.
I understand you feel this payment is an overpayment. It is not. The monies paid are to correct your mistakes. Please do not do this again without my permission.
I am asking Unison to represent me on this issue so please forward any correspondence to Mick Wilson, c/o Unison Office, Smedley Street, Matlock, DE4 3AG
Yours faithfully,
